Thanks to our one-of-a-kind, 13,000 square foot waterfront pavilion, Pirate’s Cove is the
only location that allows us to host everything from internationally acclaimed billfish
tournaments, fishing schools, boat shows and corporate events.

Sponsors of the Big Game Fishing Tournaments have arguably the best platform for
conducting business in a tradeshow-style environment. Our facilities are considered
world-class thanks to our spacious 13,000 square foot waterfront pavilion (pictured
below). Sponsors are close to the action which allows for intimate conversations and
product demonstrations with consumers from their core market segment.

The tournament pavilion was built to handle consumer traffic, corporate sponsors, and
entertainment and provides ample space for banners, performers, business and more.

With more than 500 homes in the Pirates Cove community, you’ll have your choice of
luxury accommodations within walking distance from the event pavilion. Amenities include
tennis courts, pools, spas, fitness center, restaurant and on-site shopping.

Pirate’s Cove Sport Fishing Academy

As fishing numbers are on the rise, there is a need for quality instruction that educates the
next generation and sportsmen interested in expanding their fishing knowledge. Our classes
are small and perfectly suited for individuals desiring hands-on training.

Our instructors are well-known locals who are considered to be the best in the business.
Many of these professionals are commercial boat captains, professional watermen, and
industry insiders that work on the historic Carolina waters everyday.

In November of 2007, Cabin Fever Communications, inc acquired the Pirate’s Cove
Big Game Tournaments. Cabin Fever is a marketing communications firm specializing
in corporate communications, photography and event management headquartered
in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Lead by CEO Harry R. Hindmarsh and COO Kevin S. Crum, Cabin Fever plans to
offer exclusive, high-end fishing tournaments, fishing schools, boat shows and corporate
